She advocates for access to higher education and has extensive experience supporting diverse learners, including migrant, refugee, immigrant, and at-risk students. Currently, Elizabeth serves as the coordinator at the Student Success Center at Utah Valley University (UVU), where her primary focus is on student retention, scholarship opportunities, and community building. Originally from Cancún, Mexico, Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in business from LaSalle Cancún and her master's degree in Higher Education Leadership from Utah Valley University.
