Here are some key events celebrated at Elevate Utah:

Dia de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day)

Dia de los Reyes Magos, also known as the Epiphany, is a significant cultural celebration in many Hispanic countries. It commemorates the arrival of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to baby Jesus. Elevate Utah organizes events to honor this tradition, often including activities such as presents for the children, pictures with the kings, traditional performances, and sharing traditional bread (Rosca de Reyes). Elevate Utah typically holds this event in conjunction with the Provo Library.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

Dia de los Muertos is a vibrant and symbolic celebration that honors and remembers deceased loved ones. Elevate Utah organizes a Dia de los Muertos event to showcase the rich traditions associated with this holiday, such as creating an ofrenda (altar) adorned with colorful flowers, candles, and photos of the departed. This event includes music, traditional dance, art exhibitions, and providing an opportunity for community members to share their stories and remember their ancestors.

Dia de los Niños (Day of the Children)

Dia de los Niños is a special day dedicated to celebrating children and highlighting their importance in the community. Elevate Utah organizes events filled with activities, games, entertainment, and educational opportunities for children. These events promote family engagement, cultural pride, and a sense of joy and belonging for the younger generation.
